Invitation from Lorraine

Quaker Bonnot article from Lorraine 3-07

You are invited to attend the 5th Quaker Women’s Conference in the Canyon Camp Conference Center, Hinton, OK, on November 1st thru 4th, 2007. In this beautiful place, women from different traditions of Quakerism (Evangelical Friends, Friends United Meeting, and Friends General Conference) will gather to learn from each other, support each other in spiritual growth, leadership, and ministry, and have fun! The theme this year is “Mustard Seeds in the 21st Century: Growing in the Spirit.” Every participant will have a part in the Conference (from bell ringer to group leader). We will participate in song, dance, workshops, worship, and with plenty of talking. The cost is modest ($110.00 for a room with 4, to $145 for a room with 2). We will strive for a balance in numbers of women in each tradition, so please express your interest early. Registration is limited to 60 participants. Early bird registration (with a discount) is Aug. 15. Final deadline: Sept. 1. Interested?
